Holding a dumbbell at shoulder height in one hand, dip the knees slightly and drive up through the legs to help press the dumbbell overhead to full lockout, then lower it back to the shoulder.
Tips & instructions Instructions
Keep the dip short and vertical, this is a small leg drive to assist the press, not a squat.
Progression
The unilateral load adds a real anti-lateral-flexion demand on the core that the bilateral dumbbell push press does not have.
Muscle groups Primary: Front Delts
Secondary: Triceps Lateral Head
