← All exercises Exercise V-Up Isolation | Intermediate
A floor ab exercise lying flat, simultaneously lifting the straight legs and the torso to meet in a V shape, folding at the hips rather than the lower back.
Tips & instructions Form
Reach the hands toward the feet rather than toward the ceiling, which keeps the fold happening at the hips instead of just curling the neck and shoulders.
Progression
Bend the knees slightly to regress the lever arm on the legs if a full straight-leg V-up isn't achievable with good form yet.
